Job summary

Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX is seeking staff for patient/customer food service functions including food purchasing, storage and preparation, under direct supervision.

The role is Per-Diem, on-site at Covenant Medical Center, with a pay range of $14.20–$21.28 per hour. Applicants must obtain within 30 days: National Food Handler Card or ServSafe certifications; preferred: prior food service experience.

Qualifications

• Within 30 days of hire: National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority.
• Within 30 days of hire: National ServSafe Food Handler Certificate - National Restaurant Association.
• Within 30 days of hire: National ServSafe Manager Certification - National Restaurant Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient/customer food service functions involving, food purchasing, storage, and preparation under supervision.
• Supports hospital dietary operations ensuring service quality and safety.
