Job summary

Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital seeks a Food Service Worker to assist in preparing patient meals in accordance with therapeutic diet orders, patient safety modifications, and accurate patient identification.

You will assemble, serve, deliver, and retrieve meals, record intake information, support floor stock and inventory, and help maintain sanitation and teamwork within the Nutrition Services department.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent requested.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
• Prior work experience in food services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve drinks and foods according to patient specifications including diet orders and patient identification.
• Record patient intakes and nutrient-specific intakes according to procedures.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of work stations and dish areas.
• Collaborate with Nutrition Services team, assisting with dishwashing, stocking, and inventory as needed.
