Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to follow directions.
• Within 30 days of employment, must complete Food Handler, Serv Safe or IL Department of Public Health license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver carts to the correct floor or patient area.
• Serves trays to patients and determines if they need anything else.
• Assists customers with opening containers and cutting food when requested.
• May restock other beverage areas.
• May take orders in a room service environment.
• May assemble and deliver patient trays in a room service environment.
• Replenish floor stock.
• Complies with HACCP policies and procedures.
• Reports accidents and injuries promptly.
• Abides by safety and risk management policies.
