Harris Health System in Houston, Texas is seeking a Food Service Worker to support patient meal service in a hospital setting. You will read patient meal selections from tickets and portion the correct serving on each plate.

You may deliver or retrieve meals to and from bedsides, work in the dish room, and prepare sandwiches, pre-portion salads, desserts and nourishments as needed. A High School Diploma or GED is required; Food Handlers Certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education or experience in hospital food service environments.
• Must be able to read and follow written directions accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting.
