Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Background Check and drug test required.
• Possess a valid food handler's card or ServSafe certification, PeopleReady will help provide this training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and deliver meals and snacks to patients according to dietary guidelines.
• Accurately follow patient meal tickets and diet orders, including allergies and restrictions.
• Assist with tray assembly, delivery, and pick-up in patient care area.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food service areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Stock and replenish food items, condiments, and supplies as needed.
• Communicate with nursing staff and dietitians regarding patient needs or concerns.
• Follow infection control, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
