Job summary

Oroville Hospital in Oroville, CA is hiring a Dietary Helper to perform a variety of kitchen duties across patient food service, cafeteria, or dishwashing.

You will assemble foods, deliver trays, prepare simple salads or desserts, assist on trayline, operate a dishwasher, and maintain cleanliness in the Dietary Department. The role requires good communication and a high school diploma; prior work experience is not required. Lifting up to 50 lbs and standing 7–8 hours daily.

• Must have good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assembles prepared foods for regular or modified diet trays.
• Delivers trays to serving area or Nursing Stations.
• Prepares simple salads or desserts.
• Prepares between-meal nourishment for patients.
• Works on trayline to assist in patient tray set-up.
• Operates a dishwasher.
• Performs general cleaning duties in the Dietary Department.
• Will perform other duties as assigned.
