Job summary

Dignity Health - Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, CA is seeking a Nutrition Assistant to support delivering safe, high-quality food services to patients and staff. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required upon hire or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted upon hire
• No other formal certifications listed
• Customer service and food safety awareness preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver meal trays to patients and staff.
• Assist with food preparation and maintain cleanliness.
• Ensure food safety, proper labeling, and temperature control.
• Interact with patients regarding dietary needs and requests.
• Offer services in retail or cafeteria area as needed.
• Support inventory and general cleaning of kitchen and dining areas
