Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) in Hazard, KY seeks a Kitchen & Cafeteria Worker to support dishwashing, transport of dishes, food item preparation, patient meal service and cafeteria customer service.

Responsibilities include serving cafeteria customers, checking temperatures, handling cash, assisting with catered meals and vending, and maintaining a clean preparation area and equipment. High School Diploma preferred and up to 1 year of experience preferred.

• Up to 1 year of experience preferred.
• Adept at problem solving and decision making.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in all phases of food preparation while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen and cafeteria area.
• Assists in preparing, servicing and transporting patient trays, snacks or supplements; retrieve trays and wash/store as needed.
• Serves cafeteria customers, checks food temperatures on steam tables and restocks condiments as needed.
• Takes temperatures for refrigerators, freezers and foods prior to meal service.
• Cleans preparation area and equipment.
• Operates cash register, collects payments and records cash after each period.
• Assists in preparation, serving and cleanup of catered meals.
• Assists with vending machines as needed.
• Cleans dishes, trays and utensils through scraping, washing and racking.
• Assists on trayveyor line during patient tray service period.
• May store staple goods or other supplies.
• Disposes garbage and cleans garbage cans and area.
• May clean pots and pans as assigned.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
