Qualifications

• Ability to measure, weigh and perform basic math during food preparation.
• Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal directions.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dish up, portion out, assemble, weigh and serve food items according to the production sheet.
• Prepare quality food items in accordance with recipes and menus.
• Operate kitchen equipment needed for food prep and cooking.
• Prepare food on the grill, in ovens or with induction stoves.
• Assist the cook and assemble patient trays for meals.
• Follow sanitation procedures and keep work area clean and organized.
