Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Tends laundering machines to clean sheets, blankets, and personal items.
• Loads articles in washers and adds detergent.
• Transfers items to wringer and dryer for timed cycles.
• Sorts dry articles by identification numbers or type.
• Folds and stores laundry in proper bins.
• Delivers patient/resident laundry to designated areas.
• Ensures clothes are ready to wear and not in disrepair.
• Follows MSDS precautions for cleaning chemicals.
• Washes and dries clothes and linens.
• Keeps laundry area clean and organized; follows schedules.
• Reports repairs to maintenance.
• Operates large filters and manages stain removal process.
