Job description

Title: Patient Journey Navigator, Gene and Cell Therapy

Pay: Starting at $70/hr

FT or PT: Full-Time, Contract/Consultant

Location: Fully remote position, no travel required

Requires extensive Cell & Gene Therapy experience. This must be clearly documented on your resume.

Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Clinical Research Patient Journey Navigator for a contract opportunity supporting our client, a biotechnology company advancing cell therapy research in oncology. If you're dedicated to advancing clinical research, upholding Good Clinical Practice, and thrive in a fast-paced and professional environment, trust The Experts at Hiring Experts to guide your next career move.

In this role, you'll play a critical part in the successful execution of a Cell Therapy clinical trial by managing individual patient journeys from first informed consent through randomization, treatment, and the first post-treatment scan. You'll coordinate complex, time-sensitive patient cases across clinical sites and cross-functional internal teams, ensuring patients move through the end-to-end "vein-to-vein" process efficiently and compliantly.

You'll need to quickly master clinical trial protocols — particularly in melanoma — and become fluent in TCR-T cell therapy and TIL terminology. You'll serve as a trusted operational partner to investigators, physicians, and study coordinators, especially in high-pressure moments where timing and coordination matter most. Strong organization, a solution-oriented mindset, empathy for site workload, and a service-first attitude are essential to success in this position.
