Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, seeks a Patient Food Services Manager to lead the Patient Dining Program in SE Minnesota. This role requires travel to support five accounts: Red Wing, Lake City, Cannon Falls, Austin, and Albert Lea.

You will hire and coach staff, ensure dietary compliance, and drive patient satisfaction while meeting regulatory requirements. A background in acute care food service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 1 year work experience in food services or related field or bachelor’s degree in food service management or related field
• Certified Dietary Manager or Registered Dietitian/Technician preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience in food service management, preferably in an acute care setting
• Must be able to travel to 5 SE Minnesota accounts

Responsibilities

• Lead patient dining program in an acute care setting and travel to support 5 accounts
• Hire, direct, coach, train, and develop patient service staff
• Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions per diet orders and patient preferences
• Support patient satisfaction goals and staff performance
• Adhere to regulatory standards (federal/state/accrediting), HIPAA, and confidentiality
• Lead/ participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs

Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Food Services Manager to lead our Patient Dining Program within an Acute Care setting in SE Minnesota. This Manager would be required to travel to support 5 accounts - Red Wing, Lake City, Cannon Falls, Austin, and Albert Lea.

Key Responsibilities

• Establishes goals and oversees implementation of patient food services needs based upon medical direction and patient population
• Hires, directs, coaches, trains, and develops patient service team members
• Complies with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of the diet order limitations
• Ensures patient services staff assists in achieving stated patient satisfaction goals
• Complies with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies
• Participates in/ leads patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

Qualifications

• Associate degree with one (1) year work experience in food services or related field, or bachelor’s degree in food service technology/management or related field
• Certified Dietary Manager certificate, Registered Diet Technician or Registered Dietitian, preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in food service management preferred in an acute care setting
• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record, and diet office systems
• Must be open to traveling to 5 accounts within the SE Minnesota region
