PATIENT FOOD SERVICES MANAGER II- TRIDENT MEDICAL CENTER- CHARLESTON, SC

Join us at Compass One Healthcare as a Patient Food Services Manager II at Trident Medical Center in Charleston, SC.

We are seeking a qualified individual to lead our Patient Services Team, ensuring high-quality food service delivery in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish goals and oversee the implementation of patient food services based on medical directives and patient needs.
  • Hire, train, coach, and develop patient service team members.
  • Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and meet patient preferences within diet guidelines.
  • Assist in achieving patient satisfaction goals.
  • Adhere to regulatory standards, including HIPAA, and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Participate in patient satisfaction initiatives and quality improvement programs.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree with one year of experience in food services or related field, or a bachelor’s degree in food service management or related discipline.
  • Preferred certifications include Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Diet Technician, or Registered Dietitian.
  • At least one year of management experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
  • ServSafe certification is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, and diet management systems.
