Position Summary

The Patient Food Hospitality Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service to Orlando Health patients and guests, ensuring a memorable food and dining experience. This role supports the nutritional needs of patients, manages tray delivery, and maintains cleanliness in work areas.

Responsibilities
  1. Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.
  2. Deliver trays accurately to patients, logging delivery times.
  3. Support nutritional needs by adhering to diet prescriptions and modifying diets as needed.
  4. Handle cash for guest trays and log transactions.
  5. Collect and remove soiled trays, keep work areas clean.
  6. Coordinate tray delivery with the expeditor and diet office.
  7. Assist in preparing trays, checking for accuracy and completeness.
  8. Monitor patient diet orders and accommodate changes and special requests.
  9. Follow all policies and maintain punctual attendance.
Qualifications

Ability to read, write, and respond to customer inquiries. Ability to recognize differences between words and numbers. Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
