Job summary

Allied Universal, Latrobe, PA, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Operations to safeguard clients across healthcare settings and beyond, delivering courteous service while maintaining a visible security presence.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and complete documentation under site procedures; a background check and drug screen are required, with a HS diploma and valid driver's license for driving roles.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
