Qualifications

• Graduate must be ARRT registered or eligible
• ARMRIT eligibility within 12 months of hire is required
• BCLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
• Reviews patient histories to identify contraindications
• Operates MRI equipment following safety guidelines
• Educates and prepares patients for exams
• Maintains MRI safety zones and ensures patient/staff readiness
• Documents clinical history and exam findings for radiologist review
• Maintains inventory and sterility of MRI supplies
• Collaborates with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize imaging results
• Maintains equipment functionality and reports issues promptly
• Provides patient instructions and support during and after exams
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with policies
