Bassett Healthcare Network seeks a detail-oriented Environmental Services professional to serve as a patient ambassador and keep hospital areas clean and safe. You will follow infection control procedures, utilize approved chemicals, and perform linen restocking and basic floor care as needed on a daily basis.

The role emphasizes professional interaction with patients and hospital staff, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Demonstrated accountability and reliability in a hospital setting.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients as a patient ambassador and maintain a clean environment.
• Clean and sanitize areas using approved chemicals and infection control procedures.
• Follow the 10 Step Cleaning method and daily duty list.
• Maintain inventory, restock linens, and support unit/clinic needs.
• Present professionally and collaborate with nurses, clinicians and staff.
