Job summary

Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking a patient-focused Environmental Services role in Cooperstown, NY. You will act as a patient ambassador, cleaning and sanitizing areas with appropriate chemicals, while following infection control procedures and using EPIC policies as guidance.

Responsibilities include floor care, linen management, inventory control, and professional interactions with nurses, clinicians, and central supply. High school diploma required; healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patient ambassador for the hospital, interacting with patients while cleaning, using appropriate chemicals to clean and sanitize areas.
• Perform floor care/maintenance including burnishing, top scrub & recoat, strip and applying new finish, and bonneting.
• Maintain linen levels and ensure positive interactions between linen supply and receiving areas.
