Job summary

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, medical assistant certification, and BLS. Clinical duties include taking vitals, immunizations where applicable, and assisting physicians while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and graduation from an accredited medical assistants program.
• National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification.
• Basic Life Support Certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and openly.

• Improve patient experience.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Assist in nursing duties and take patient history and vitals.
• Prepare FMLA documents as needed.
