Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a Patient Experience Coordinator to develop and coordinate programs that promote an outstanding patient experience. You will identify patient needs, resolve complaints, and analyze data to drive service improvements across the care continuum.

You will train physicians, residents, students, and staff on appropriate behaviors and conflict resolution, supporting system-wide patient satisfaction goals and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• 2+ years in patient experience or healthcare customer service required.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient, family, and visitor concerns and feedback.
• Provide training, coaching, and mediation/issue resolution for staff.
• Handle data entry and analysis to support service improvements.
• Support department operations and service improvement initiatives.
