Brunswick Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator at the Christenbury clinic in North Carolina. You will be the first friendly face, manage front-office operations, schedule appointments, assist with patient collections, and help patients stay on track with their care plans, collaborating with the Clinic Director and therapists.

This onsite, full-time role focuses on creating a positive patient experience, balancing hospitality with administrative duties and performance

Brunswick Physical Therapy, powered by Areté Health, is looking for a Patient Experience Coordinator to join our team at our Christenbury location in North Carolina.

You’ll be the first friendly face our patients see and an important part of keeping the clinic running smoothly. From creating a welcoming experience to coordinating appointments, supporting patient collections, and helping patients stay on track with their treatment plans, you’ll work closely with the Clinic Director and therapists to make every visit a positive one.

What you’ll want to know

• Compensation: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, plus applicable performance incentives.
• Schedule : Full-time, Monday–Friday. Individual hours based on clinic needs.
• Location : Brunswick Physical Therapy | Christenbury, NC. This is an onsite position.
• Work environment : Outpatient physical therapy clinic where you’ll manage front-office operations, patient scheduling, and collections while working closely with the Clinic Director and clinical team. This is a patient-facing role that balances hospitality with administrative responsibilities and measurable performance goals.
• What makes this opportunity different : This isn’t just a traditional front-desk position. You’ll play a direct role in helping patients complete their prescribed care while contributing to the clinic’s overall patient experience and operational success.

What you’ll do:

• Welcome patients and visitors, creating a warm, professional, and positive experience from the moment they walk through the door.
• Coordinate appointments, rescheduling, and proactive patient outreach to help patients stay consistent with their prescribed treatment plans.
• Verify insurance benefits, communicate patient financial responsibilities, and collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.
• Follow up on patient balances through phone, text, and email with professionalism and empathy.
• Partner with the Clinic Director and therapists to maintain full schedules, fill appointment openings, and support patients in completing their plans of care.
• Maintain accurate patient information in the electronic health record (EHR) and scheduling systems to support smooth daily clinic operations.

• Previous experience in a healthcare front-office, patient coordination, or outpatient therapy setting.
• Familiarity with insurance verification, patient collections, and appointment management.
• Experience with Prompt EMR or a similar healthcare platform.
