Job summary

Garnet Health Medical Center–Middletown is seeking a Patient Experience Assistant to support patient care and satisfaction as part of the Patient Experience team. You’ll respond to concerns, coordinate the Language Assistance Program, and work with leaders and staff to ensure high-quality service on a busy multi-facility system.

This on-site role requires an associates degree (or current enrollment) and at least two years in customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Associates degree or enrolled in Associate degree program.
• Minimum Experience: Customer service experience of at least two years.
• Required Certification/Registration: N/A

Responsibilities

• The Patient Experience Assistant will respond to and resolve patient complaints and grievances per CMS guidelines.
• Coordinate the Language Assistance Program (LAP) in accordance with DOH and DNV regulations.
• Proactively round on patients and support the care team to address concerns in real time.
