Position Purpose:

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID is hiring a Patient and Equipment Transporter. This position is responsible for the internal transport of patients and the distribution of assignment equipment.

Position Highlights and Benefits:

• Schedule Information: This position will be scheduled for 24 hours a week:
  Sunday 9am-5:30pm
  Monday & Wednesday 2:30pm-11pm

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS/HCP) certification required.
• Prior experience in customer service and/or patient care is preferred but not required.

What You Will Do:

• Respond to all questions and requests promptly, providing excellent customer service to patients and staff.
• Coordinate with team to dispatch transporters appropriately.
• Follow established procedures for decontamination, inspection, delivery of equipment, and customer service relations.
• Demonstrate transfer techniques and equipment use as needed.
