Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or food service (preferred)
• Willing to obtain Food Handler or ServSafe certification within 6 months
• Ability to follow menus, diet orders, and written instructions
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate patient meal trays based on diet orders
• Reviewing menus and restrictions for each patient
• Working the trayline to assemble and check meals quickly and accurately
• Delivering trays to patient rooms with professionalism and compassion
• Providing friendly, helpful communication with patients and nursing staff
• Collecting used trays and returning them to the kitchen
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization at the workstation
• Practicing proper food safety and sanitation procedures
• Supporting kitchen and prep teams as needed
