Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring immediately for a full-time Patient Services Lead at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, TX. The role coordinates patient meal service, supervises dining staff, and ensures meals meet dietary and service standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals, and operation and maintenance instructions.
• Aptitude for effectively operating hospital ADT system and other computer-based systems, which manage patient care records.
• The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.
• Strong teamwork and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees systems and processes to ensure the Patient Dining Program objectives are met.
• Supervise Patient Dining Associates and ensure tray assembly, delivery, and pickup.
• Coordinate with caregivers and culinary team on menu options for dietary needs and preferences.
• Interact with nursing to evaluate daily patient meal selections and delivery.
• Ensure HIPAA, HACCP, and sanitation compliance.
• Complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports per Morrison policies.
• Lead daily team meetings using Morrison’s GR8 Start guidelines.
