Job summary

Malone Staffing Solutions is hiring a Patient Dining Associate to support patients with meal selections and ensure meals are prepared, assembled, delivered, and picked up safely and on time. The role works closely with nursing staff, dietitians, and the culinary team to meet nutritional requirements and dietary restrictions.

The position offers weekly pay, benefits, and potential permanent placement, with a schedule of long shifts and rotating weekends in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to pass a 10-year felony-free background screening.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.
• TB blood screening required.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and interpret English documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with understanding menu selections and ensure meals meet dietary requirements.
• Work with nursing staff, dietitians, and culinary team to ensure appropriate meal selections.
• Identify menu alternatives for allergies or cultural/religious dietary needs.
• Assemble meals accurately and deliver within time and temperature standards.
• Maintain HACCP compliance and food safety procedures.
