Job summary

Craig Hospital in Englewood, CO is seeking a Food Services Associate to support the food service leadership in delivering patient, staff, and visitor meals in cafeterias and floor bistros. Responsibilities include serving from a line, operating a cash register, preparing items on a griddle/fryer, restocking areas, delivering nourishments, and assisting with dishwashing.

The role requires teamwork, strong English communication, basic arithmetic, and a High School diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Cashier and/or computer experience preferred; 1–3 years in foodservice.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; basic arithmetic.
• Ability to build cooperative relationships with staff, patients, families, visitors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare serving area for meal service and restock as needed.
• Batch cook grill/fryer items for quality and waste control.
• Serve meals to patients, staff, and visitors including special requests.
• Assist patients during meals and help with accessibility needs.
• Operate cash register, process payments, and reconcile cash drawer.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized serving area and equipment after service.
• Prepare ingredients for cold/hot foods and assemble items for Grab N Go.
• Deliver patient nourishments and nursing supplies as required.
