Job summary

Orlando Health's Orlando Regional Medical Center in Downtown Orlando is seeking a Patient Food Hospitality Attendant. You will focus on delivering high-quality dining experiences to patients and visitors, ensuring accuracy and courtesy in every interaction.

In this role you will support the nutrition team by arranging patient trays, logging deliveries, and assisting with diet orders, while maintaining clean work areas and excellent communication with staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, recognize, and differentiate between words and series of numbers.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver proper trays to patients using courteous service.
• Support nutritional needs of patients as part of the Orlando Health team.
• Arrange trays on delivery cart and log delivery times.
• Log tray locations and ensure timely tray delivery.
• Collect guest tray money and log it with the diet office.
• Remove soiled trays and keep work areas clean.
• Coordinate tray delivery with expeditor and diet office.
• Assist expediting trays and check accuracy/completeness.
• Monitor patient diet prescriptions and order changes.
• Check patient menus according to physician diet orders.
