Job summary

Regional One Health in Memphis, TN, is seeking a Food and Nutrition team member to guide patients through the dining process and ensure accurate meal delivery. You will explain menu options, dietary modifications, and use MyDining/MyDelivery systems to support high-quality patient nutrition services.

The role requires strong communication, attention to dietary details, and a willingness to collaborate with Clinical Dietitians and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Six (6) months experience in high volume food service.
• Institutional food service experience in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Meets with patients to present and discuss the printed menu.
• Explains QR code technology to view the menu online.
• Explains the patient meal order and delivery process to patients and families.
• Highlights the Chef’s Special and Always Available menu options.
• Notes patient food preferences and allergies in MyDining software.
• Refers nutrition concerns to the unit Clinical Dietitian.
• Prepares, delivers, and recovers patient meal trays.
• Assembles trays per meal ticket and delivers via MyDelivery workflow.
• Follows ROC dress code and wears the approved uniform.
• Works as a team member to provide quality service and patient satisfaction.
