Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for McLaren Lapeer Region, MI. Full-time and part-time shifts; 12-hour schedules from early morning to evening. Provides patient meals, helps with menu selections, and delivers trays with care and accuracy.

Role emphasizes safety, HIPAA compliance, and high standards in meal service. Training available; wage is $14.00/hour. Online applications preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, cultures, or patient inquiries.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s selection and retrieve trays on time.
• Adhere to HIPAA policies and procedures and facility confidentiality.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and cleaning work stations.
• Comply with infection control policies and department procedures.
