Job summary

Memorial Hospital Belleville is seeking a Patient Dining Associate to take patient food orders, assemble and deliver trays, and support daily nourishment delivery. The role supports the Food & Nutrition Department in providing high-quality meals to patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities include tracking intake and calorie counts, coordinating with nursing for diet orders, and ensuring galley stock is organized and ready for service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must follow patient diets and communicate with nursing staff.
• Ability to work full-time 6:30am–3:00pm with occasional evenings.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient meals to assigned areas, documents meals and calorie intake and rounds on patients in accordance to department expectations.
• Assembles meal trays and menus in accordance to guidelines.
• Communicates patient diets, delivery of meals and special requests with patient care team.
• Maintains an organized and stocked galley.
