Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring Patient Dining Associates to support meal service in a hospital setting in Bloomer, WI. You will assist patients with menu choices, deliver trays, and ensure meals are served on time and per dietary requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and maneuver/push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Work with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for allergies and cultural preferences.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection and retrieve trays on time.
• Follow HIPAA policies and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and cleaning work stations.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients on special diets.
• Communicate issues to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports per Morrison policies.
