Location: University of Cincinnati Medical Center - 3188 Bellevue Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45219

Schedule: Part time, varying days and hours, including weekends and holidays

Requirements: At least one year of customer service experience; dietary aide experience preferred

Pay Range: $17.16 - $18.07 per hour

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates assist in providing meals to patients, helping with menu selections, assembling, delivering, and retrieving meal trays, ensuring safety and satisfaction by delivering accurate meals at the right time and temperature.

Responsibilities

1. Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional requirements.
2. Work with the culinary team to accommodate food allergies, sensitivities, and cultural preferences.
3. Manage tray tickets and assemble meals accurately and promptly.
4. Adhere to regulatory standards, confidentiality, and HIPAA policies.
5. Follow HACCP guidelines and infection control policies.
6. Support dietitians with monitoring patients on special diets.
7. Communicate issues to appropriate personnel.
8. Complete required reports and comply with health and sanitation regulations.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.
