Job Opportunity: Patient Dining Associate/Dietary Aide

Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediately for on-call Patient Dining Associate/Dietary Aide positions at Atrium Health Macon, located at 777 Hemlock Street HB 141, Macon, GA 31201. Online applications are accepted only.

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work on healthcare units, assisting patients with menu selections, assembling, delivering, and collecting meal trays. They are vital to patient safety and satisfaction, ensuring meals are accurate, timely, and at the correct temperature.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist patients with menu understanding and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional needs.
2. Work with the culinary team to accommodate food allergies, cultural preferences, or additional patient inquiries.
3. Manage tray tickets and assemble meals accurately and promptly.
4. Comply with regulatory standards, including HIPAA, and maintain patient confidentiality.
5. Follow HACCP guidelines for food handling and sanitation.
6. Assist dietitians in monitoring patients on special diets.
7. Communicate patient concerns to appropriate staff.
8. Complete required reports as per policies.
9. Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned.
