Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work on healthcare units, assisting patients with menu choices, assembling, delivering, and retrieving meal trays. They help ensure patient safety and satisfaction by delivering accurate meals at the right time and temperature.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections, ensuring compliance with their nutritional needs.
• Coordinate with caregivers and culinary staff on menu options, considering allergies, sensitivities, and preferences.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals accurately and timely, and retrieve trays from patient rooms.
• Adhere to regulatory standards, confidentiality, and HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines, infection control policies, and assist dietitians as needed.
• Report problems or concerns promptly and complete required documentation.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
