Join us as a PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE - DIETARY AIDE (FULL TIME) at Morrison Healthcare.

• We are hiring immediately for a full-time PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE - DIETARY AIDE position.
• Location: Premier Health - 9000 North Main Street, Englewood, OH 45415. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, rotating weekends and holidays; more details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work on assigned units, providing services such as helping patients with menu selections, assembling, delivering, and collecting meal trays. They are part of the caregiving team, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction by delivering meals accurately, on time, and at the correct temperature.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist patients in understanding their menu options and coordinate with nursing to meet their nutritional needs.
• Work with caregivers and culinary staff to accommodate food allergies, cultural preferences, and additional patient inquiries.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals accurately and promptly, and retrieve trays from patient rooms at scheduled times.
• Comply with regulatory standards including federal, state, JCAHO, and HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for food handling, cleaning, and tray line procedures.
• Assist dietitians with monitoring patients on special diets or with specific calorie needs.
• Communicate any issues or concerns with patients to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Complete required reports as per Morrison Healthcare policies.
• Adhere to health, sanitation, and infection control regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
