Job summary

Eatonton Health & Rehab in Eatonton, GA is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to support kitchen and dining operations. You will assist cooks, prepare desserts and meals, serve patients, and help with trays and nourishments.

The role includes following safety rules, maintaining cleanliness, and promoting a positive dining experience. Minimum qualification: high school diploma; benefits include insurance, 401(k), PTO and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating instructions.
• Basic math skills for measurements and portions.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in preparing desserts or snacks for patients.
• Assist cook in preparation of meals.
• Carry trays to patients on halls.
• Clean tables in dining area after each meal.
• Help with salads and desserts and other dishes.
• Serve patients beverages and nourishments.
• Set up tray line and perform tray line service.
• Follow diet orders and NPO diet orders.
• Promote infection control policies in the work area.
