Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Patient Services Worker to support hospital and long-term care nutrition services. You will deliver trays, collect nourishments, and communicate patient food needs to the Food and Nutrition Services team.

The role emphasizes adherence to sanitation standards and collaboration with clinical staff to meet patients' nutritional requirements. English proficiency is required, with bilingual abilities a plus.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and collects patient trays during meal service and serves nourishments as ordered.
• Obtain patient food preferences from patients or family members.
• Communicate patient food needs to the Food and Nutrition Services Department.
• Ensures diet care orders are provided with appropriate menu selections.
• Maintains sanitation standards and completes assigned cleaning tasks.
• Inventories and restocks pantries, refrigerators, and freezers on assigned units.
• Maintains temperature logs for unit refrigerators and freezers.
• Assists in understanding therapeutic diets and consults with Supervisor or Dietitian when needed.
• Supports clinical staff to meet patients' basic nutrition needs.
