Introduction

Do you seek the career opportunities as a Patient Customer Advisor with your current employer? We have an exciting work-from-home opportunity at HCA Healthcare, the nation's leading healthcare provider.

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Available Shifts: Each shift is 8.5 hours, including a 30-minute lunch and two breaks. Start times range from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm EST, with end times from 6 pm to 9 pm EST.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Customer Service Advisor manages inbound and outbound calls to review accounts, resolve inquiries, and secure payments, requiring familiarity with multiple systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Communicating with customers via phone or digital media
  • Reviewing and researching patient account information
  • Documenting inquiries and actions
  • Updating insurance and demographic data, requesting rebills
  • Securing payments using secured methods
  • Escalating complaints appropriately
  • Creating positive patient experiences with professional communication
  • Adhering to policies and performance metrics

Minimum qualifications:

  • At least one year of customer service experience in healthcare, retail, hospitality, or related fields
  • Preferred call center experience in healthcare
  • High-speed internet (25 MB download, 15 MB upload); WiFi not permitted
