Job Details:
  • Position: Patient Coordinator
  • Location: 280 NY-299, Suite 1, Highland, NY 12528
  • Type: Full-Time
  • Salary: $17.50-$19.00/hour, based on experience
Responsibilities:
  1. Manage front desk operations, including patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, and referral coordination, while delivering exceptional customer service
  2. Verify insurance, process authorizations, and collect payments to ensure smooth billing and patient access to care
  3. Maintain accurate patient records by registering new patients, updating information in the EMR system, and preparing necessary documents
  4. Answer phone calls, assist patients, and uphold HIPAA compliance, ensuring a welcoming and professional healthcare experience
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED; or related experience or training
  • Medical receptionist experience and EMR software knowledge are a plus
  • EPIC software knowledge is a plus
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet and Word processing software
