Job summary

Center for Urologic Care of Berks County in Wyomissing, PA, is seeking a Patient Coordinator to join our Front Desk team. This full-time role is Monday–Friday with no weekends and offers the opportunity to be the first impression for patients, greet warmly, verify information, and assist with appointments and payments.

Our Patient Coordinators provide compassionate service, maintain accurate records, collaborate with clinical staff, and help patients navigate their care while respecting HIPAA

Qualifications

• Front desk or healthcare receptionist experience preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a busy environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and assist patients throughout their visit.
• Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently.
• Verify demographic, insurance, and contact information.
• Schedule appointments and assist with next steps in care.
• Collect copays and patient payments.
• Answer phones and respond to patient questions.
• Maintain accurate information in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with providers and staff to support patient flow.
• Identify and resolve issues to improve the patient experience.
• Protect patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements.

Patient Coordinator – Front Desk

Center for Urologic Care of Berks County (CUC)is looking forfull-time Patient Coordinators to join our Front Desk team!

Our Patient Coordinators are often thefirst face our patients see and the first impression they have of our practice.This is an important role for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, thrives in a busy environment, and understands that even the smallest interaction can make a difference in a patient's experience.

We're looking for someone who can bring togethergreat customer service, attention to detail, teamwork, and a positive attitudewhile helping our patients navigate their care.

What You'll Do

• Warmly greeting and assisting patients throughout their visit
• Checking patients in and out accurately and efficiently
• Verifying demographic, insurance, and other required patient information
• Scheduling appointments and assisting patients with their next steps in care
• Collecting applicable copays and patient payments
• Answering phones and assisting with patient questions
• Communicating clearly with patients regarding appointments, forms, and practice processes
• Maintaining accurate information within the electronic medical record
• Working closely with providers, clinical staff, and other Patient Coordinators to support efficient patient flow
• Helping identify and resolve issues before they become barriers to a great patient experience
• Protecting patient confidentiality and following HIPAA and practice requirements
