Job summary

Powers Health is seeking a Patient Companion to support close patient monitoring for individuals deemed at risk to self or others. You will perform tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in alignment with established practices and procedures.

Ideal candidates demonstrate good verbal and communication skills and appreciate a team-based care approach within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

Job description

A Patient Companion facilitates the provision of close patient monitoring and surveillance for a patient who is classified as actively a danger to self and/or others. A Patient Companion performs specific tasks and functions as delegated by the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse and according to established practices and procedures.

Education/Experience

Completion of high school level course work preferred. Good verbal and communication skills.
