Job summary

Share Medical Center is seeking a Foodservice Worker for The Homestead in Alva, OK. The role supports meal preparation, serving, delivery to patients, residents, staff, and Meals on Wheels.

Responsibilities include taking orders, ensuring sanitation, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma preferred; valid driver’s license required for deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous dietary, food service, or customer service experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate a vehicle for meal delivery required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals for Homestead residents.
• Take meal orders and serve meals to residents in the Homestead Dining area.
• Take orders via fax or phone for Hospital patients and staff.
• Deliver meal trays to Hospital patient care areas and Meals on Wheels to community members in a timely, and professional manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to all patients, residents, staff, and community members.
• Collect and return trays from patient rooms, dining areas, and service locations.
• Clear tables and dining areas promptly, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
• Operate dishwashing equipment in accordance with established sanitation procedures.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dish room, Homestead dining areas, and workspaces.
• Sweep, mop, and perform routine and deep cleaning tasks, and dispose of trash as assigned.
• Assist with food and supply deliveries and stock dietary supplies for hospital and Homestead.
• Ensure compliance with hospital accreditation standards, including utilization of SQSS for compliance tracking.
• Adhere to all Share Medical Center/Homestead policy and procedure, follow HIPAA guidelines, completes all required educational training and performs other job duties as assigned.
