Job summary

AdventHealth in Palm Harbor, FL is seeking a full-time clinical support role to travel as needed, support clinic operations, and ensure high standards of patient care. The role requires high school diploma, BLS credentials, and CMA/CMAC/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA or equivalent certification, with strong computer and English skills.

You will participate in patient intake, documentation, inventory control, and ongoing education to maintain compliance and quality care across the practice.

Responsibilities

• Travels as needed to fulfill staffing needs and support clinic operations.
• Maintains policies and procedures and ensures compliance with organizational standards.
• Maintains education requirements and demonstrates competency.
• Prepares patients and equipment for treatment and initiates testing.
• Documents results in the practice’s designated system.
• Maintains confidentiality of employees' and patients' information.
• Supports staff teamwork and assists patients, visitors, and co-workers when necessary.
• Performs clinical intake including screenings, vital signs and medication reconciliation.
• Assists with minor procedures and ensures documentation at time of service.
• Educates patients regarding tests, medications, and diet.
• Monitors and manages inventory and ensures functioning medical equipment.
