Responsible for supporting patient care delivery by processing physician orders, maintaining patient records, and managing patient information. Coordinates communication among patients, visitors, and healthcare teams to ensure efficient operations. Provides clerical services, organizes documentation, and assists with unit workflow. Ensures accurate recordkeeping and timely response to requests using various communication methods. Delivers excellent customer service to enhance the patient and staff experience.
High school diploma or equivalent experience
0-1 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part‑time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
Basic Life Support (BLS), Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI)
This position requires regular sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); intermittent standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds; occasional standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; and occasional lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds. It also involves occasional risk of back injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment or materials.
