Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years old
• Ability to handle highly confidential information
• Meets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position
• Any previous comparable experience
• Any equivalent experience of a pharmacy clerk
• EPRN familiarity

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with health and wellness needs
• Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report illegal activity including robbery, theft or fraud
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities except those requiring professional judgement
• Maintain clean and organized work stations and customer waiting areas
• Count, measure and prepare specified product using best practices
• Provide billing procedures to ensure value to customer and company
• Answer phone, triage calls, and handle inquiries as appropriate
• Operate cash register and process EFTs, cash, checks
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies
• Support health and wellness initiatives and assist with vendor coupons and cash controls
• Handle legend orders and Central Fill deliveries as required
• Work well in high-paced environment and manage conflicts calmly
• Ensure honesty and integrity with customer and business information
• Assist with data entry related to reception, adjudication, and dispensing
• Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
