Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be at the front line with customers, building strong patient relationships while supporting the pharmacy team. You will participate in an earning-while-learning training program, aiming toward PTCB certification and professional growth within Walgreens.

You will assist pharmacists, enter data in pharmacy systems, fill prescriptions, and help with inventory and operations.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Preference for PTCB certification.
• Ability to perform basic math and use computer systems.
• Knowledge of store inventory control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Identify and communicate potential drug interactions or errors.
• Provide friendly customer service and support to patients and customers.
• Support inventory management and cash handling as needed.
