Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join our patient-first pharmacy team. You’ll interact with customers, build relationships, and support the pharmacist with dispensing and clerical tasks, under supervision.

The role emphasizes service excellence and learning through our ASHP-DOL recognized earn-while-you-learn program. The position offers hands-on training, opportunities to obtain PTCB certification, and exposure to advancing pharmacy technology

Qualifications

• Earns and maintains PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration.
• Attends training requested by Manager and acquires continuing education credits. Maintains knowledge and skill in healthcare and pharmacy, including latest news and developments.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy under direct supervision.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and assist with cash registers.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Enter patient and drug information, ensure accuracy, and support workflow.
