Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to supervise and coordinate nursing care during shifts, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with hospital policies.

As part of the management team, the CNC will monitor care quality, serve as a staff resource, and support staffing, training, and service initiatives to improve patient outcomes and departmental performance.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state.
• ACLS and BCLS must be obtained within specified timeframes.
• ENPC, NIH Stroke Scale, NVCI, PALS, STABLE, TNCC, and NRP requirements within defined periods.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required or work experience in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to support throughput and care quality.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with management.
• Collaborate with other managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Support patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and labor utilization per patient care needs.
• Support inventory control and supplies management.
