A ProMedica Medical Assistant is a key member of our patient centric care delivery model. In the office setting, the Medical Assistant communicates with patients and co-workers and collaborates with leadership to recommend changes to improve patient care.

This role ensures a safe patient experience from entry to visit completion, including obtaining vitals and relaying messages for providers or nurses. High school diploma or equivalent is required, BLS CPR is required or must be obtained within

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• BLS CPR certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience in medical office preferred.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant.

Responsabilités

• Greet and communicate with patients and staff to support care delivery.
• Collect vitals, document visit reasons, and relay messages to providers.
• Answer patient calls and coordinate with nurses and the health care team.
• Contribute to a safe patient experience from entry to exit.
